The life-size t-rex sculpture in Paris. Picture: Anthony Gelot
IT’S A startling – and stunning contrast: a ferocious monster appears to be stalking picturesque Paris, looming over the Eiffel Tower.
The “monster” is a larger-than-life t-rex sculpture made by artist Philippe Pasqua and placed by the Seine River,Designtaxi.com reports.
The 3×6 metre artwork sculpture is made of 350 chrome moulded bones and comes complete with razor-sharp teeth, huge skull and a massive tail.
It adds some shock-value to art, and is quite a contrast to other large popular artworks around the world, such as Hong Kong’s giant inflatable duck.
